Identification

Rectifier Diode black colour की होती है और mobile phone PCB के अलग-अलग sections में लगी मिल सकती है। यह Charging Diode से ऊँची होती है और देखने में छोटी IC जैसी लगती है। इसके किनारों पर PCB में solder हुई legs दिखाई देती हैं।

Works

Rectifier Diode current को एक दिशा में pass करती है और reverse direction में current को रोकती है। Smartphone की battery DC current देती है; PCB पर लगी Diode का काम AC current को DC में बदलना नहीं है।

Faults

Rectifier Diode faulty होने पर उससे जुड़े circuit में current का flow रुक सकता है।

Practice

Mobile phone की PCB लें और ऊपर बताई गई पहचान के अनुसार Rectifier Diode को खोजें।
